BIGLEAP at EVS38: Project Presence at a Leading Global Forum on Electric Mobility
Bigleap2026-03-27T09:41:37+00:00The BIGLEAP project was represented at EVS38 – the 38th International Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exhibition, held on 15–18 June 2025 at Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg, Sweden. EVS38 is one of the most established international events dedicated to electric mobility, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and explore emerging trends in the sector.
As part of the scientific programme, IKERLAN, a partner in the BIGLEAP consortium, presented work connected to the project’s activities and ongoing research on advanced battery management and lifetime prediction.
Highlighting BIGLEAP’s contribution to the EV research community
IKERLAN’s presentation focused on the study “Dynamic Optimization of EV Charging Based on Periodically Updated Battery RUL Algorithm”, which explores new approaches to improving charging strategies for electric vehicles. The work reflects BIGLEAP’s broader ambition to support more reliable, efficient, and sustainable battery systems through advanced modelling and data‑driven methods.
The contribution presented at EVS38 included results generated within the BIGLEAP project, demonstrating how the consortium’s research is helping advance battery health assessment and smart charging solutions. This visibility reinforces BIGLEAP’s role within both the European and international research landscape.
Strengthening BIGLEAP’s international visibility
Participating in EVS38 offered an important opportunity to:
- Share BIGLEAP’s progress with the global electric mobility community
- Engage with key stakeholders across research and industry
- Increase the project’s visibility in an international setting
- Contribute to ongoing discussions on innovation in battery management
BIGLEAP’s presence at the symposium highlights the project’s commitment to active dissemination and collaboration, supporting the development of next‑generation of battery technologies in Europe.
