Join BIG LEAP at Advanced Battery Power 2026 in Münster
Bigleap2026-03-11T12:34:43+00:00From 14–16 April 2026, the international battery conference Advanced Battery Power will take place in Münster, Germany, bringing together experts from industry, research, and policy to discuss the latest developments in battery technologies and energy storage systems.
The conference offers an extensive programme over three days, designed to encourage knowledge exchange and collaboration across the battery value chain. The event will feature technical presentations, poster sessions, and extended discussion periods, providing participants with valuable opportunities to engage with leading researchers and technology developers.
BIG LEAP project partner IKERLAN will be present at the event, offering an opportunity for participants to learn more about the project’s work in advancing innovative battery management solutions.
The BIG LEAP project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme, focuses on improving the interoperability and reliability of Battery Management Systems (BMS) for second-life battery energy storage systems. The project develops advanced algorithms for State of Health (SoH) and Remaining Useful Life (RUL)estimation, as well as an interoperable cloud-layer BMS architecture designed to optimise battery performance, safety, and integration into large-scale energy storage applications.
The Advanced Battery Power conference will start on 14 April 2026 at 13:00 and conclude on 16 April 2026 at 15:00. In parallel, the Vehicle-to-Grid conference will take place on 15–16 April 2026, exploring the role of electric vehicles as flexible storage assets within future energy systems.
In addition, a series of online battery seminars will be organised on 13 April 2026, offering further insights into emerging research and technological developments in the battery sector.
If you are attending Advanced Battery Power 2026, make sure to connect with the IKERLAN team to learn more about how the BIG LEAP project is contributing to the development of smarter, safer, and more efficient battery systems supporting Europe’s energy transition.
